Where OTV fits

OTV is for software that already receives a transaction hash and needs a signed answer before it releases goods, credits an account, or tells a customer the funds are spendable.

Callers the API is built for

• A merchant or checkout that must not treat a pending or failed execution as paid.
• A payment system that wants a webhook when a verification is final, failed, or suspicious.
• A wallet or support desk that looks up a verdict or submits a claim.
• An automated client that can send HTTPS and store an API key. That client does not get a signing key and cannot move funds through OTV.
