# OpenTrust Verify

> Trust the balance, not just the blockchain event.

OpenTrust Verify (OTV) is a hosted API from POP Trust. You send an incoming-transfer claim. We return a signed verdict that says whether the named recipient can spend what arrived.

A blockchain explorer can show that something happened. OTV checks inclusion, execution, asset, recipient, balance change, and finality on Ethereum, Bitcoin, Solana, Tron, Base, and other EVM networks.

Authenticate with an API key or a session. Google sign-in is available on the hosted site.

## Do not confuse

OTV does not custody assets, send transactions, or treat a mock adapter result as live chain proof.
